Live in the mOMent

“We lose ourselves in the things we love, and find ourselves there too.”

Welcome home, I’m so happy you arrived!

Here’s the story…

Veronica, also known as V or Vero, is a yoga teacher, media journalist, hugger and mother. Her yoga career spans over a decade teaching in corporate wellness whilst also being an artist in broadcast media.  Growing up in California with roots in the Bay Area, Veronica earned a double degree in Business and Communication at Saint Mary’s College.

She is truly passionate about helping others through her creative endeavors, especially with the sacred art of yoga and empowering the human spirit. Through yoga, she learned that on the pathway of self-discovery, which at times could be muddied in layers of self-doubt and fear, one can discover the light of the inner spirit by connecting through this divine healing practice.

Her path to yoga and as a healer unfolded at the intersection of some triumphant and difficult times. Veronica pursued an exciting career in broadcast media and traveled the world telling stories and interviewing an array of guests on a travel show entitled LatinEyes. This demanding lifestyle required tough skin for the highs and lows from accolades and rejections. Determined through the uncertainty of auditions, she booked various commercial projects and print jobs. Eventually she was honored with a prestigious Emmy Award for her story covering the Peruvian jungle. She is grateful for the pitfalls and opportunities from her experiences even when she was met with a health scare that would change the course of her life.

Having stepped away to let go and start over, she serendipitously found solace in yoga as she navigated years of unsettling anxiety. The journey sparked a calling to embark on a yoga teacher training and her desire to share yoga and be of service to others. Fascinated by the immense healing effects of yoga, both physically and mentally, she dived into training learning from teachers and mentors, Jamie Testa, Rolph Gates, Janet Stone, Jasmine Tarkeshi and Elena Brower, just to name a few. Eventually her yoga career blossomed, and she became a full-time mother while weaving in her media projects. However, her story took another turn but with a positive twist. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 (it’s ok breathe) and once again paused to recover, finding all the love and support from her family and tribe of women, and holding her babies. But for Veronica, that is the essence of yoga - when you go through life with its myriad of circumstances yet have the courage to embrace it all and pause to listen to your heart, we discover our detours are somehow illuminating the path to “live in the moment.”

It is in this spirit she follows her heart, advocating for both yoga and breast cancer awareness, holding space for others to heal.  She continues to develop her teachings organically growing her classes outdoors, in studios and within communities around the Bay Area.  She is grateful to have grown her yoga career, bringing yoga to the corporate world, leading motivating classes and special events to start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.

She authentically crafts her classes with an open heart and warm, infectious personality. Integrating alignment, core work and breathing techniques in Vinyasa style, energy-flow, mellow-flow, and restorative sequences. Her love for music and inspiring passages are weaved into classes, leaving students feeling encouraged and connected to receive the messages that resonate and speak from within. The intention is to teach thoughtful, potent and harmonious classes that reach out, touch, move and inspire students on their yoga journey.

Thank you for reading my story, I look forward to meeting, teaching and learning with you.

With Love and Light, ✨💖✨
